Implementation of CSDR in Norway – What’s new?

In 2022 the Norwegian CSDR implementation process has gained significant speed starting with the Norwegian FSA granting Verdipapirsentralen ASA (Euronext Securities Oslo) the authorisation as a central securities depository under CSDR. The authorisation will be effective as of the 1st of March 2022. Below you will find our article where  we have seen at some of the consequences to be aware of for participants in the Norwegian securities market.
